 Last Spring one three year retreat at Drikung Samtenling Nunnery finished and the nuns together with their retreat master Drupon Sonam Kunga Rinpoche made offerings to H. H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche in the presence of the sangha. Then just this past November 20 His Holiness gave the Five Fold Path of Mahamudra Torma Empowerment to a group of 16 nuns who will begin the next three year retreat. This three year retreat center is where His Eminence, the late Drubwang Konchog Norbu Rinpoche spent much of his time. Many of the nuns in the new group will be beginning their second three year retreat and some even their third!
